About Us
Welcome to St Joseph the Worker.
We are a Church of England parish church in Northolt, west London. St Joseph's is a lively multi-cultural church which attracts people of all ages and backgrounds to our Sunday and weekday worship and various weekday activities.
You will find our worship is a creative blend of modern catholic and charismatic styles.
Like our patron St Joseph we want to be open and obedient to God in all we do and our motto "Growing in Christ as we seek to serve" informs our life together. This includes serving the community through practical outreach and service by the work of our small community project the Dovetail Centre (activities for youth, children, older people, coffee shop, drop in and Saturday lunches).
We are open seven days a week, whether you want to come for worship, a listening ear and cup of coffee or just some space, peace and quiet to light a candle or pray in the chapel.
We are part of the 'Quartet' network of four Anglican churches in south Northolt and north Hayes, committed to working together wherever possible in mission and ministry across our community. The Quartet has a website at http://jehnquartet.tripod.com/
We also work as part of Soul in Northolt and Greenford, a network of churches of different denominations seeking to bring hope and renewal in our community by sharing the good news of Christ through words and actions.
Interested in finding out more about what Christians believe? Each autumn we run an Alpha course http://www.uk.alpha.org/
Or why not have a look at this website: www.rejesus.co.uk
Our last vicar Simon and a previous curate Stuart Batten have written a short book together in the Grove Books Spirituality series which explores the spirituality of St Joseph's and churches like us. More details at http://www.grovebooks.co.uk/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17170&substring=
