Notices for this week 28th June 2009

Fundraising Coffee Morning Thursday July 9th
A coffee morning is being held in aid of CMT United Kingdom at Yeading Community Centre, Ditchfield Road, Yeading, Hayes, UB4 9BH on Thursday July 9th from 10am – 2pm. Everyone is welcome. Tea, coffee and cakes are on offer, a HUGE raffle, bouncy castle, a great outside area and activities for the kids!
This organisation helps people who have Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. CMT is a condition that damages the peripheral nerves, which run from the spinal cord to the arms and legs. The condition causes muscle wastage and loss of senses such as pain, heat, cold and touch. The condition can be disabling causing difficulties walking, with hand function, balance problems, pain and fatigue. I have this condition and there is a 50% chance that my two boys do as well, so raising money for this charity is very important to me. The money raised will go towards sending children with CMT on a weekend away and for our local support group. It is a great cause. Please come and support us!  Sarah Wells

Next Sunday morning Fr Simon is preaching at St Catherine's and St Paul's Church, Hoddesdon, where the Rev Vanessa Parr is presiding at the Eucharist for the first time, following her ordination as a priest. Please pray for that special service.

All are invited to St Edmund's Church family garden party, on Sunday 12th July, following the 10am service. (Poster in the centre)
