St. Joseph the Worker Church has suffered Bank Details
with water ingress through the roof for a number of years now and past investigations have found the zinc roof to be badly buckled, caused by expansion and contraction as a result of environmental conditions over a long period of time which is allowing water to pass in the roof construction.

It had been concluded in 2016 that the roof coverings had reached the end of their useful life and that it was uneconomical to replace individual panels and the recommendation would be for a full replacement.
